The American Amusement Machine Association said it will replace its president of almost 10 years, Mike Rudowicz, with John Schultz, a director of new business development and international sales at Apple Industries.
The group said that the replacement comes after it did not extend Mr. Rudowicz's employment contract.
"Mike's 40 years of industry experience was a great benefit to the association," said Dave Courington, the association chairman, in a statement.
"The association, as well as the entire amusement industry, owes Mike a debt of gratitude for his years of dedicated service."
Mr. Schultz served as president of Rock-Ola Manufacturing Corporation between 1998 and 2008. Prior to his May 15 appointment as AAMA's president, he served on several committees and is currently vice-chairman of the executive committee, AAMA said.
