On Monday, GameAccount, the software developer, and Eidos Interactive, a video game publisher, announced an agreement to create online person-to-person skill games.
Based on three of Eidos' franchises -- "Championship Manager," "Kane & Lynch: Dead Man" and "Battlestations: Pacific" -- the games will push the GameAccount Network into the branded games ring.
"These franchises already have a massive and loyal following, and we hope to benefit from that brand recognition," said Kevin Dale, GameAccount's chief executive, in a prepared statement.
"We feel that the combination of our engaging game formats and the rich imagery and animations of the video game titles will prove a winner for everyone."
