"We hope to find jobs within the company for the 12 staff and manager," a company spokesperson was quoted by the newspaper as saying. "It is an old-style casino, and it has now been sold to a property developer."
Last week U.K. bingo operators were blindsided by a tax hike that raised bingo gaming duty from 15 to 22 percent.
